Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the membership?

Membership includes unlimited daylight access to our garden to harvest veggies and herbs, special member-only events, and expert harvesting advice.

What's up with the wait list?

To ensure a quality experience for our members we need to onboard people a few at a time.  This is to ensure there is more than enough produce for all. The waitlist is our way of managing that.  Since spaces are limited be sure to join the wait list as soon as possible.  We will notify you when a spot becomes available.

What types of workshops and classes do you offer? How do I join?

Coming soon!  Starting this fall we plan to offer a variety of workshops and classes both for kids and adults.  We hope to start a monthly plant  group as well.  Garden membership is not required for these events but some may have a fee. If you would like to be notified of upcoming events, please click the "Get Involved" button and let us know what type of events you're interested in.  As this is a new program your input is helpful in steering us towards what you find most helpful.

Are the events open to non-members?

While some events are exclusive to members, we do host open community events and workshops throughout the year where non-members are welcome to join.

How do I prepare for a visit?

You will be harvesting in a working garden. We have scissors and grocery bags on site although you may want to bring your own.  Otherwise bring what you would for any outdoor activity here in Florida - this may include sunscreen, bugspray, closed-toes shoes, a hat, etc.

Is this a long term commitment?

While we hope you stay a long time you are free to cancel whenever you want.  Your membership will end at the end of the month in which you cancel.
